MacLeod: Chapter 9: The Hallway Hangers: Dealing in Despair

The Hallway Hangers are not faring well when MacLeod revisits them in the early 1990s. I have noted the following themes in his explanations of their troubles (and successes): Be sure to understand how MacLeod uses each to explain status attainment in the contemporary United States.
